The Voice Kids Holland 2024 Format:
The show “The Voice Kids Holland” carries four phases: production audition, Blind Audition, The Battles & the final. The production auditions are not televised & only the good singers are selected. Like in Popstars, Idols & The X Factor, they then audition for the judges, but in the show, they do a blind audition, which is similar to the theater rounds in the previously described talent shows.
During the blind auditions, the coaches choose singers based on musicality and voice Performance. Each applicant shall have the opportunity to sing a song of their choice for about a min. If 1 of the coaches decides to place the artist on his or her team, he or she should press the “I Want You” button. When 2 or more coaches want the same artist on their team, the artist may choose which coach he or she wants to go with.

The coaches/ Judge Marco Borsato, Nick & Simon, and Angela Groothuizen were declared in 2011. Roel van Velzen could not take part in the jury because he would become a father during the shooting period. Angela Groothuizen was appointed by John de Mol to also participate in the jury during the 2nd season. The host from the adult version, Martijn Krabbé & Wendy van Dijk, was also appointed as host in the kid’s version.
