- For the so-called “blind auditions,” which are the initial stage of the television program, about 110 people are invited. There, the contestants must perform in front of an audience on a stage while being supported by a real band.
- Because they are seated on swivel chairs with their backs to the stage, the jury members can first only hear the vocalist.
- During the audition lecture, you can cast your vote for a candidate by turning to face them. If a candidate receives at least one of the four jury votes, they advance to the next round.
- To advance to the next stage, the contender selects their coach from among the jury members who have sided with them. Each of the four coaches should receive a set of ten candidates for the blind auditions.
- A training session where the coaches get their candidates ready for the “Battle Round,” the second phase, comes next. A duet featuring two contestants from the same coaching group is performed during the Battle Round.
- After the respective coach makes a selection, just one of the two candidates will move forward. A candidate who has not been chosen by his own coach may be taken on by another coach as of the 2014 season’s second season.
- Following the fights, each coach chooses three performers for the live performances in a phase known as “Knockout Round” (2014) or “Sing-off” (2013).
- The candidates compete against one another in their coaching groups during the final stage, the live presentations, when they are evaluated by the coaches and the television audience.
- Competitors from various coaching teams square off in the best-four bracket final. The winner of the final is solely decided by the fans on television.
