About The Show:

• The first-ever rap/hip-hop reality show in India is called MTV Hustle.
• Aspiring rappers compete to be the biggest hip-hop star in India.
• Along with airing on MTV India, the show can be seen digitally on Voot and Jio Cinema.
• In August 2019, Season 1 debuted. presented by Gaelyn Mendonca and judged by Raja Kumari, Nucleya, and Raftaar.
• The second season debuted on September 3, 2022.
• The show, which is hosted by Krissann Barretto, is judged by Badshah and four squad bosses: EPR, Dino James, Dee MC, and King Rocco.

MTV Hustle 2024 Format:

Only fifteen rappers were chosen to battle against one another in Season 1 after 40 applicants were chosen from the Voot online registrations. Rappers were evaluated based on their overall performance, writing, and rapping style.

Through online Voot auditions, 16 applicants were selected for Season 2. The four Squad Bosses will now train and evaluate the competitors based on their skill, performance, meter, technique, musicality, and storytelling. Badshah chose which contestants to allocate to each squad.

Voot will allow viewers to participate in the process of choosing their favorite performer by allowing the public to vote.
