General Rules and Regulations:

• For dance, solo entries are permitted. All contestants must be aware that solo entries are currently not accepted by the K-POP World Festival. If the winner of the show is a solo performer, they shall not be eligible to apply for the K-POP World Festival & will not be eligible to apply again in the future.
• The number of members of the performance team must be the same as that of the group they are covering, for instance: The performance team that covers BTS should have seven members.
• 13 individuals participants are the maximum for both the dance & vocal categories.
• Any content that is inappropriate, obscene, or provocative shall be automatically canceled.
• The disqualification shall result from having multiple entries in each category.
• Only one complete song can be played; The amount of time is unlimited.
• The show is a national event in which contestants can submit videos regardless of whether their city is selected for the regional round. Only the region in which a contestant currently resides or is located nearest to them may be applied for.
• The registration form for the show must be clearly state each participant’s full name.
• The direct contact listed on the registration form ought to be in constant communication.
• In the show of any invalid/falsehood or not satisfying the models of the enlistment structure shall prompt preclusion.
• Throwing glitter, water, gel, or any other material is not permitted as a surprise.
• If the Korean Cultural Centre deems it appropriate, props directly related to the choreography may be utilized. A participant must first approach the Korean Cultural Centre before using a prop for the cover.

Rules and Regulation for Vocal:

• The K-pop song should be completely covered, & freestyle is not permitted.
• Even if performed by Korean artists, no English songs or English versions of Korean songs shall be accepted.
• It is allowed to rape. Please be aware that the vocalist selection criteria shall be used to evaluate your performance in this case; therefore,
• if you are confident in your pronunciation and rapping abilities, you may apply.
• Recording in a studio is not allowed.
• Mics should not be used.
• Songs must not be combined.
• We ask contestant not to use any filters, effects, or camera work in their videos because this could be interpreted as editing by the judges and result in disqualification. Clearly recorded videos must be taken by each contestant.
• The vocalist’s face require to be easy to see in the video.
• The audio in the video ought to be of good quality.
• Vocals ought to be heard.
• It is against the law to play instruments.
